MUSEUM TO BE OPEN ON MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY
LAST CHANCE TO VIEW "COLLECTING OKLAHOMA"
The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman will be open through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend, including Monday, Jan. 21. Holiday weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
Jan. 21 also is the last chance for visitors to view the museum’s special Oklahoma Centennial exhibition “Collecting Oklahoma: A Centennial Celebration.” The exhibit features unique, never-before-exhibited objects from across the state. “Collecting Oklahoma” is made possible by the Merkel Family Foundation, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, the Kerr Foundation, Inc., and Republic Bank & Trust, with media support from CNHI Oklahoma and Cox Communications.
Museum admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors (ages 65 +), $3 for youth ages 6 to 17, and free for children ages 5 and under. A family of four can visit the museum for under $20. Admission is free to University of Oklahoma students with student I.D.
